The Moog One is a premium analog synthesizer that offers a wide range of features and capabilities for sound synthesis and manipulation. Here are some of the key features and specifications of the Moog One:

moog one 8

Polyphony:

Available in 8-voice and 16-voice configurations, the Moog One is a polyphonic synthesizer, allowing you to play multiple notes simultaneously.

Keyboard:

It features a high-quality 61-note Fatar TP-8S keybed with velocity and aftertouch for expressive playing.

Oscillators:

Each voice in the Moog One has three newly-designed analog voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) with waveshape mixing and OLED displays. These VCOs can produce a wide range of classic and complex analog waveforms.

Unison Mode:

In Unison Mode, you can stack up to 48 oscillators on a 16-voice instrument, creating massive and rich sounds.

Filters:

There are two types of analog filters per voice: a newly-designed multimode State Variable Filter and a classic Moog Ladder filter. These filters can be used individually or in combination for a variety of filter sounds.

Envelopes:

Each voice has three assignable DAHDSR envelopes (Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, Release) with user-definable curves.

LFOs:

The Moog One features four wide-range LFOs that can modulate various parameters.

Modulation Matrix:

There is an internal modulation matrix that allows you to create complex modulation assignments.

Effects:

The synthesizer includes a library of programmable per-synth and master bus effects, including reverbs from Eventide. These effects can be applied to individual layers of timbrality or the entire mix.

Tri-Timbrality:

The Moog One is tri-timbral, meaning it consists of three independently addressable analog polysynths, each with its own sequencer, arpeggiator, and effects processor.

Keyboard and X/Y Pad:

It features a premium 61-note keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, as well as pitch and mod wheels and a pressure-sensitive X/Y pad for expressive control.

Presets and Performance Sets:

The synthesizer allows you to save and recall presets, with the ability to store tens of thousands of presets. Performance Sets make it easy to switch between presets during live performances.

User Spaces:

You can save and recall global settings and configurations to create different workspaces tailored to your needs.

Snapshots:

You can capture and recall snapshots of presets at their current settings, making it easy to experiment and return to previous states.

Analog and Digital Connectivity:

The rear panel provides multiple audio outputs, inserts, and external audio inputs. It also supports MIDI communication through 5-pin DIN and USB connections. There are configurable CV inputs and outputs as well.

Configurations:

The Moog One is available in 8-voice and 16-voice configurations, and upgrades from 8 to 16 voices are not currently available.

Overall, the Moog One is a powerful and versatile analog synthesizer designed to offer a wide range of creative possibilities for musicians and sound designers. Its combination of analog sound generation and digital control features make it a premium instrument for creating unique and expressive sounds.
