The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 Octo Custom offers powerful DSP acceleration and genuine analogue emulation for Thunderbolt 3-ready Mac and Windows PCs.

The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 Octo Custom has eight SHARC DSP processors and takes use of Thunderbolt 3’s increased speed and bandwidth. This is especially handy when connecting to other Thunderbolt Interfaces, assuring full speed and bandwidth across the chain. The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 1 and 2, and it may be used with prior generations with an adaptor (available separately).

This new UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 Octo Custom comes with the Analogue Classics Plus bundle and three extra plug-ins of your choosing. The Analogue Classic Plus package consists of Legacy versions of Universal Audio’s LA-2A Classic Audio Leveller, 1176 Classic Limiting Amplifiers, Pultec EQP-1A, Pultec Pro, and Fairchild 670. It also has the 610-B Tube Preamp and EQ emulation. You also have access to three extra plug-ins of your choosing.

Mac:

MacOS 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra, or 10.14 Mojave support Thunderbolt 1, 2, or 3 ports.

Thunderbolt 1 and 2 connections need an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (not supplied).

Windows:

Windows 10 (64-Bit Edition) supports Thunderbolt 3 ports.
