For both live and studio use, the potent new Akai Professional APC64 is a next-generation Ableton Live controller.

It has eight fully assignable Touch Strips and 64 RGB velocity-sensitive pads with poly aftertouch for instantaneous hands-on control over devices, pitch, modulation, and much more. With three MIDI ports and eight CV/Gate outputs, the APC64 can also function as a stand-alone 32-step, 8-track step sequencer and controller. This allows users to fully control synths, drum machines, and modular rack devices.

VISUAL REPORTS AND MANAGEMENT
For immediate visual feedback on your parameters, the APC64 comes equipped with a rapid push encoder and a smart colour LED screen. While navigating the many devices and mixing environments in Ableton Live, pay attention to every parameter displayed on the screen. Along with 8 Track Mute and Solo buttons for mixing and live performance, APC64 also has a dedicated transport control with Play, Stop, and Record buttons for capturing your ideas.

STANDALONE STEP SEQUENCING

With the integrated 32-step, 8-track step sequencer in the APC64, you may operate your preferred synths without a DAW. You may connect, sequence, and record your preferred modular racks, keyboards, vintage drum machines, and more with its 8 CV/Gate outputs and 3 1/8″ MIDI connections. To take your performance to a whole new level, use the 8 Touch Strips to add continuous control and expression. Use the Probability, Velocity, and Mutate tools to give MIDI notes more imaginative dimensions for exploration.

POWERFUL PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTION
APC64 makes it easier to work seamlessly with Ableton Live, from triggering loops and samples in the Drum Rack to using the Notes, Scale, and Chord modes to write expressive melodies. Create creative melodic patterns with the onboard step sequencer, then use the Send To Clip feature to quickly import them into Ableton Live. Utilise APC64 to arm and record vocal tracks directly in Ableton Live sessions, or add swing and quantize to your beats.

ABLETON SIMPLER CONTROL/DRUM RACK
Using an Ableton Live Drum Rack or Simpler device, you can play and record beats, loops, and slices with the APC64’s dedicated Drum Mode. Use the eight touch strips to manipulate Ableton Live’s FX racks while creating beats and performing to get more ideas.

Ableton Live 11 Lite for PC64 has all the software you need to produce, perform, arrange, record, edit, mix, and master your music in one package. Sounds, instruments, and the ability to record, arrange, and sequence are all included in Live Lite.
