Mini Mastering Console

The TK Audio S-Blender compact mastering console features two stereo inserts for parallel and serial processing, making it ideal for mixing and mastering. The five-step mode control alters the signal flow, allowing different combinations to be evaluated without reconnecting any outputs. The first insert is semi-fixed, and the second insert can be positioned at four different positions along the signal route. The two inserts swap positions with the press of a button, and previewing is possible without affecting the level controls by utilizing the mute buttons. For ease of integration, the blender includes a separate display component with volume control and a mono switch. It’s the best device for two-stage compression, integrating parallel and serial compression cleanly and straightforwardly.

Mastering-grade circuits and a switch matrix with gold-plated relays ensure peak performance. The goal has been to create an ideal tool for parallel and serial processing. With two outboard processors linked, such as two compressors or a compressor and an EQ, many combinations can be achieved with a turn of a knob. When combined with a DAW and a monitoring system, the blender can be used for both processing and monitoring control.
