This active studio monitor features a 1-inch ring radiator tweeter with an advanced geometry neodymium motor and a rear waveguide chamber, as well as two 5.25-inch poly/paper-conde midbass drivers with advanced geometry neodymium motors. Each MicroMain27 also houses two opposing 10-inch, aluminum-cone Dual-Force subwoofers, capable of generating clean bass down to 30 Hz. Sweetwater engineers have found the MicroMain27’s tweeters to be incredibly detailed with super-wide dispersion, and its midrange detail rivals anything else we’ve heard. The amplifier stages of the Barefoot Sound MicroMain27 were carefully built for ultimate transparency in collaboration with Bruno Putzeys of Hypex. This active speaker features a game-changing DSP crossover that feeds four amplifier modules. This cutting-edge design provides 500 watts to the speaker’s subwoofers and 250 watts to each of its midbass drivers. The tweeter is driven at 250 watts. Aside from that, the MicroMain27 features high-end conversion and cutting-edge custom filters to deliver the greatest sound possible.
