Two pairs of ear cushions are offered as standard to produce the optimal sound characteristic for the application in question. A pair of leatherette ear pads produces a more closed sound, making the headphones better suited for monitoring applications.

Maintenance:

The ear pads and headband, like any other piece of equipment that will be used near sensitive portions of the body, must be kept clean. Use a moist cloth to clean with warm water, being careful not to get any water drops into the ear cups or transducers. If necessary, gently remove the ear pads and headband pads and wash them with mild soapy water.

Never use solvent-cleaning chemicals! Furthermore, the pads must be thoroughly dry before being reattached to the headphones.
