The hardware is comprised of a robust 1RU chassis housing a 32-point analog patchbay, with I/O organized on DB-25 connectors on the rear panel. Patch App is an intuitive Mac/Windows program that connects to the patchbay via USB and manages patchbay assignments and routings. Only the patchbay routings are changed digitally in Patch; no audio is ever converted to digital. All channels that pass through it stay in the analog domain.
