The Traktor Kontrol X1 Mk3 includes an intuitive light guide to help you perform, freeing up your bandwidth to focus on the present with significantly less need to watch your laptop’s screen. Five vibrant OLED screens display critical information across a variety of parameter groups, including track titles, duration, progress bar, deck assignment, effects, and more. Onboard illumination is not just for show. Lighting options are fully adjustable, letting you choose colors that correlate with performance characteristics, decks, FX, and tool sets for seamless use and easy identification. Furthermore, a special light-based highlighting system alerts you immediately when a track is about to end or is in a loop, allowing you plenty of time to manage transitions or performance flourishes without taking your gaze away from your X1.

Solo control with huge interoperative possibilities.

Almost every aspect of the X1’s interface has been ergonomically built to improve performance while increasing creative flexibility. Accessibility considerations include newly dotted buttons for rapid tactile orientation, while the smooth black interface and matted surface make a purposely dark canvas for quickly following and responding to color-coded light-based data. All twenty transport control buttons were redesigned to improve uniformity and surface area. With the X1’s extensive customization capabilities, practically any Traktor function can be mapped for complete control from the controller module. Of course, you’re not limited to just one: a suite of three USB-A ports and a USB-B connection are top-mounted, allowing you to daisy-chain additional X1s together, integrate one or more with turntable DJ controllers, or incorporate them into any number of unique configurations.
